US political pragmatism helps to establish partnership with Kazakhstan: R.Hougland

KAZINFORM /Kurmat Samarkhan/ ?Election of new president of the USA is a historical event and opens new stage in the American history, diplomacy and unity?, US Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Kazakhstan Richard Hougland has said today at a briefing, Kazinform reports.
According to the diplomat, it became clear that the administration of Barack Obama will pay special attention to the establishment of effective partnership based on respect. ?US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, reporting in the Senate, said that the US foreign policy should be based on combination of pragmatic principles, facts and evidences?, R.Hougland said.
?I am sure that pragmatism will help us built strong partnership and contacts with all our partners, including Kazakhstan. Being the US Ambassador to Kazakhstan, I consider it as a privilege to assist our President and Secretary of State in further strengthening of partnership between our people and governments?, he noted.
