USA to render political, moral and financial support to civil society all over the world: T.Melia

ASTANA. November 28. KAZIINFORM U.S. State Secretary Hillary Clinton will hold a meeting with representatives of the civil society in the L.Gumilyev Eurasian National University. Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor Thomas Melia made it public at a briefing on Sunday.

"The fact that the USA State Secretary will meet with the representatives of the civil society in the Eurasian National University on Tuesday witnesses the importance of the civil society for the OSCE and the American government", T.Melia said.

According to him, at such meetings H.Clinton promotes the initiative she put forward during her report in Cracow in July last year which states that the USA government will always support the civil society all over the world.

T.Melia also said that H.Clinton held similar meetings in all countries she visited.
