Ust-Kamenogorsk hosts Forestry Forum of Kazakhstan and Russia

UST-KAMENOGORSK. September 27. KAZINFORM - Today in Ust -Kamenogorsk on the initiative of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Russia, and with the support of akimat of East Kazakhstan region there will take place a Kazakh- Russian forest forum dedicated to logging and wood processing.

As reported by the Embassy, carrying out the above activities will be the inter-regional sectoral dialogue platform that provides an opportunity for representatives of state agencies, businesses, and scientists of two countries to exchange views on topical issues of the industry.

The focus of the conference is on the development of new technologies in forest products, exchange of experience between the industry, improvement of economic approaches and sector-specific legislation.

The event will be attended by the heads of regions and departments of Kazakhstan and Russia, experts in the field of forestry, entrepreneurs, and members of non-governmental organizations dealing with the matter.

The guest of the arrangement is also the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation Galim Orazbakov.

The Kazakh side sees significant inexhaustible potential for development of industrial cooperation of Kazakhn and Russian companies. Against the background of the active processes on economic integration in the framework of the Eurasian Economic Space joint projects in this area can become a model of inter-regional cooperation between two friendly countries.
