Ust-Kamenogorsk hosts NGO regional forum
Public hearings, award ceremony of active non-governmental organizations with participation of the akim of the region, election of delegates for participation in the IV National Civil Forum are on the agenda of the event.
According to the Internal Policy Department of East Kazakhstan oblast 605 non-governmental organizations were registered in the region. The NGOs are discussing the issues of promotion of healthy lifestyle, protection of maternity, childhood, environment, sport, tourism as well as implementation of youth policy.
As is known East Kazakhstan region ranks the fourth in the country on funds allocated for the implementation of the state order.
It should be noted that 11 non-governmental organizations whereas 4 are the youth organizations fulfill the state order.
