Uzbekistan and European Union discuss issues of developing cooperation

The Head of the Department for Cooperation with European Countries and the EU Institutions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Oybek Shahavdinov, held talks with the Head of the Unit for the Middle East & Central Asia in the European Commission Directorate General for International Partnerships, Ms. Sarah Rinaldi, in Brussels, UzA reports.

The parties reviewed the current state and prospects for developing Uzbekistan-European relations, as well as the schedule of future joint events and visits at various levels.

Issues of further developing bilateral relations in the political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres were discussed.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on regular dialogue to enhance collaboration.
