Uzbekistan is recognized as the best tourist destination among the CIS countries

According to the results of the Russian Traveler Awards 2024, organized by the Russian magazine “Russian Traveler”, Uzbekistan was recognized as the winner in the “Tourism in the CIS” nomination, UzA reports..

The award ceremony was attended by Uzbekistan delegation led by the First Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee Jamshid Abdusalomov.

In July this year, this magazine published a special issue entitled “Uzbekistan – an Eastern Fairy Tale”, dedicated to Uzbekistan’s tourism potential, arousing great interest among Russian readers.

Notably, renowned Italian magazine Condé Nast Traveller recently recognized Almaty, Kazakhstan, as a special place combining modern vitality, rich culture, and natural beauty. Kazinform News Agency correspondent shares the list of the recommendations by the magazine.
