Uzbekistan suggests establishing Turkic Development Bank

Addressing the 10th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Astana, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirizyoyev suggested establishing the Turkic Development Bank and developing the Turkic World Charter. The President confirmed readiness to host the bank in Tashkent, Kazinform Agency reports.

He said the Turkic investment fund started its work to strengthen industrial cooperation between the states and the development of large investment projects.

At today’s summit under the TURKTIME motto the Uzbek President also put forward an offer aimed at further expansion of multilateral and long-term ties between the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). It aims to strengthen principles of mutual respect, trust, and openness within the organization to jointly overcome all the challenges.

To this end, it is crucial to develop the Turkic World Charter to reflect the unity and consolidation of Turkic nations, their great past, rich culture, and long-standing values. He suggested developing this unique symbolic encyclopedia with the participation of leading scientists and experts.
