Uzbekistan – United States: A new era of strategic partnership

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Donald Lu, UzA reports.

The transformation into a new format of the Strategic Partnership Dialogue between the two countries, based on the principle of deep respect, was noted.

According to Donald Lu, Washington and Tashkent continue strengthening relations and taking strategic cooperation to a new level.

“At the Third Session of the Strategic Partnership Dialogue between Uzbekistan and the United States, we discussed the broad agenda of our cooperation and outlined the priority areas, especially aimed at regional economic prosperity”, Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov said.
