Uzbekistan's permanent population exceeds 37.5mln

As of December 9, 2024, the number of permanent population of Uzbekistan reached 37,535,605 people, Kazinform News Agency learned from kun.uz.

The number of women is 18.6 million, and the number of men is 18.9 million, Statistics Agency says.

As of October 1, 2024, the population density in Uzbekistan was 83.2 people per square kilometer.

This is 1.7 people more compared to the same period in 2023 (81.5 people per square kilometer).

On December 6, Kazinform reported that Kazakhstan’s population surpassed 20, 243,000.
