Van explodes in Astana parking lot (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - As reported earlier, a Mercedes minivan has exploded in a parking lot in Astana on Friday night, damaging a vehicle nearby, according to witnesses.

Emergency crews and police rushed to the scene in the parking lot of the Diplomat residential compound at Konayev Street. No casualties were reported. The exact cause of the explosion is under investigation. The Astana police are working at the scene of the explosion.
