Van Gogh multimedia exhibition opens Aug 2 in Almaty

ASTANA. KAZINFORM On August 2, a multimedia exhibition "Van Gogh Alive" opens in Almaty.

More than 3,000 works of Vincent Van Gogh will be displayed in a completely new format. Apart from the artist's works, his personal photographs will be showcased on giant screens installed throughout the gallery. This special display system includes more than 40 multi-channel projectors and a sound volume system. A multimedia symphony of light and sound, Grande Exhibitions' immersive exhibition experience takes visitors on a journey through the turbulent life and artwork of the famous Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh. The exhibition will take place within the City Day with support of the Almaty department of culture, Kazpravda.kz reports.
