VI CIIE to kick off Nov 5 in Shanghai

The sixth China International Import Expo (CIIE) will kick off on November 5 in China's Shanghai. The event will be held until November 10, Kazinform Agency quotes the Chinese’s Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson as saying.

Kazakhstan Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz, Serbia’s Prime Minister Ana Brnabić and heads of foreign delegations are expected to attend the CIIE opening ceremony and relevant events.

This year’s CIIE is expected to attract guests from 154 countries, regions and international organizations and more than 3,400 registered exhibitors and nearly 410,000 registered professional visitors. So far, more than 70 countries and international organizations across five continents have confirmed their participation in the Country Exhibition.

Kazakhstan has been taking part in the expo since 2018.
