VI Kazakh International Exhibition ?Education and Science of XXI Century - 2009? opens in Astana

ASTANA. February 18. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ VI Kazakh International Exhibition ?Education and Science of the XXI century - 2009? was opened in the capital Congress-Hall. It is scheduled from February 18 to 20, Kazinform correspondent reports.

The organizer of the exhibition is the international exhibition company ?Atakent-Expo? under the aegis of the RK Ministry of Education and Science and Akimat of Astana. The exhibition is aimed to show achievements in the field of education, modern educational techniques, and teaching materials of new generation including introduction of multimedia and electronic manuals into educational process. RK Minister of Education and Science Zhanseit Tuimebayev, Minister of Education of Omsk region of Russia Igor Schetkin and heads and reps of diplomatic missions of Russia, Turkey, Germany, France and Czech Republic accredited in Kazakhstan attended the opening ceremony. Zh. Tuimebayev expressed confidence that presentation of the achievements by different universities and organizations will positively influence on the further development of education and science in Kazakhstan. In the context of the exhibition, the National Testing Center of the RK Ministry of Education and Science will hold UNT approbation testing of capital?s 11th grade students.
