VI World Nomad Games are planned to be held in Kyrgyzstan

The VI World Nomad Games are planned to be held in Kyrgyzstan, Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic Altynbek Maksutov told at the board meeting of the ministry, Kabar reports. 

He noted that the issue is currently under discussion.

The World Nomad Games is the largest international project of the Kyrgyz Republic, initiated by the government of Kyrgyzstan in 2012 to revive and preserve the culture of nomadic civilization.

In 2014, 2016 and 2018, the World Games were held in Kyrgyzstan, and in 2022 - in Turkiye. In 2024, the games will be held September 8-14 in Astana (Kazakhstan).
