Vice PM Saparbayev participates in int'l conference dated to 550th anniversary of Kazakh Khanate in Turkestan (PHOTO)
Deputy Prime Minister also took part in the International scientific-theoretical conference titled "The role and importance of Kazakh Khanate in the history Kazakh statehood", which takes place these days at the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after A. Yassaui.
B.Saparbayev delivered the message of the President Nursultan Nazarbayev to the participants, according to the website of Prime Minister of Republic of Kazakhstan.
"The glorious period in the history of the state, the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate, is celebrated in every corner of our country. Today Turkestan became the pride of our nation, a sacred place of ancestral spirits. However, this ancient city is considered as an international scientific center of the modern Turkish world, in particular the scientific center to study the history of the Kazakh people, its traditions and customs, " the greeting reads.
Addressing to the participants of the conference, B.Saparbayev stressed that thanks to the policy of the Head of State "Kazakhstan became a free and sovereign state, a full member of the world community" .
The conference was attended by over 600 representatives of scientific communities from Turkey, Iran, Azerbaijan, Korea, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. At its end a resolution was adopted.
