Vietnam intends to hold Year of Vietnam in Kazakhstan

Official diplomatic relations between two countries began on September 26, 1992. In February and June 1994 the Heads of the Foreign Ministries of both countries signed the Agreement on trade-economic cooperation. Vietnamese Embassy in Kazakhstan was opened on July 1, 2008. Vietnam plans to announce 2013 the Year of Kazakhstan. Negotiations on holding of Vietnam?s Year in Kazakhstan are planned to be started this year. As the Diplomat noted, such steps will bring together both nations, having common interests and values.
