Vietnam to play China's Jiangsu at women's volleyball tournament final

HANOI. July 20. KAZINFORM Hosts Vietnam rallied to beat Team Shandong from China 3-2 on Friday to enter the final of the 10th international women's volleyball tournament (VTV Eximbank Cup 2013) in Vietnam's northern Ninh Binh province, Xinhua informed.

After winning the match 23-25, 20-25, 28-26, 25-12, 15-13, Vietnam will play another team from China, Jiangsu, in Ninh Binh in the final on Saturday while Kazakhstan will fight against Shandong for the third place.

So far, Vietnam has recorded five victories and one loss while Jiangsu has claimed four wins and two losses.

Also on Friday, China's Jiangsu easily beat Kazakhstan in straight sets to secure a place in the final while Australia edged Thailand 3-2 in the 5th-6th playoff.

The VTV Eximbank Cup 2013 takes place from July 13-20 with the participation of six teams from Australia, China, Kazakhstan, Thailand and Vietnam.
