Vilnius hosted roundtable on threshold of 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence
The event was held on November 15. A wide range of issues reflecting the state and prospects of development of the Kazakh- Lithuanian relations on the eve of the 20th anniversary of establishment of relations was discussed at it.
Director of the OSCE Chairmanship Department in Lithuania's Foreign Ministry Rytis Paulauskas note that Lithuania preserve continuity in the priorities of its presidency of the Organization. In particular, this allowed to reach significant progress in regulation of the situation in Kyrgyzstan.
In opinion of Ambassador-at-Large of the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry Vytautas Naudužas, trade-economic relations of Kazakhstan and Lithuania develop actively, n particular, in the sphere of transport.
Director of the Centre for Geopolitical Studies Greta Tuchkute expressed hope that ideas on development of bilateral cooperation will be continued in future joint projects.
Lithuanian and Kazakh experts, representatives of the foreign ministries and mass media took part in the event.
