Visa-free regime between Kazakhstan and China turns over a new page in our relations, PM Smailov
As part of his working visit to Shanghai, Kazakh Prime Minister held talks with China's Prime Minister Li Qiang to debate pressing issues of trade and economic cooperation between the two nations, Kazinform Agency learnt from the Prime Minister’s press service.
The Kazakh Prime Minister stressed that Kazakhstan attaches great significance to strengthening ties, good neighborly and strategic partnership with China.
China is one of the largest trading partners of Kazakhstan. Last year the sales rose by 35% to reach a record 24.2 billion US dollars. This year the trade grew by 21% more. According to the Kazakh Prime Minister the visa-free region will significantly promote business ties, ease trade, increase mutual investments and boost tourism between Kazakhstan and China. “The visa-free region will take effect starting from November 10. It will turn over a new page in the relations of the two nations,” the Kazakh Premier said.
