Volume of residential construction to rise in Kazakhstan
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Volumes of rental housing construction will rise in Kazakhstan over the next 4 years, according to First Vice Minister of National Economy Marat Kussainov.
In his words, volumes of rental housing construction will be increased in order to improve housing infrastructure in Kazakhstan and meet demands of the population for affordable housing within the framework of the Regions' Development Program until 2020. "To this end, the National Fun will earmark nearly 150 billion tenge in 2015-2016," First Vice Minister Kussainov commented on the construction costs. "In total, 1,4 million square meters of rental housing worth 250 billion tenge will be built in Kazakhstan from 2015 to 2019," he said at a press conference at the Central Communications Service on Monday.
