W Kazakhstan has great opportunities for tourism development - Mr. Kapparov

URALSK. KAZINFORM - West Kazakhstan region has great potential for tourism development in connection with the forthcoming exhibition "Expo -2017" which is to be held in Astana, this statement was made by the Minister of Environment and Water Resources Nurlan Kapparov during his working trip to West Kazakhstan region.

N.Kapparov has held a meeting with representatives of the region noting the key issues of "Kazakhstan-2050" Strategy. Moreover, the Minister explained the importance of comprehensive measures related to the implementation of the President's instructions in the field of social support. "Kazakhstan's transition to "green" economy will provide our country with an opportunity to be among the 30 most developed countries of the world", said the Minister. Talking about the preparations for "Expo -2017" Kapparov noted that West Kazakhstan region has great opportunities for tourism development in connection with the exhibition, as the number of tourists coming to Kazakhstan will increase. During the visit, the Minister visited the center for growing sturgeon in the West Kazakhstan Agro - Technical University named after Zhangir Khan.
