Warehouses catch fire in Taraz

A number of warehousing facilities caught fire in Taraz, Zhambyl region, Kazinform News Agency reports.

According to the regional emergencies department, the fire broke out March 11, at 08:56 am, in the territory of Omar Ata market. It was isolated at 10:05 am. 

As per preliminary data, the fire spread to the area of 350 square meters, while the area of warehousing facilities has not been identified yet. 40 firefighters and 12 specialized vehicles were involved in the fire extinguishing process.

No victims or injuries were reported.

The fire was extinguished at 12:46 pm. Short circuit is reported to have caused the fire.
