Warsaw marks Independence Day of Kazakhstan

The Ambassador noted that such achievements of Kazakhstan as chairmanship in the OSCE in 2010 and the OIC in 2011 would positively impact realization of the key initiatives of the Kazakh President: further development of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA), the Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions as well as convocation of the Ministerial Conference "Islamic World - West, Common World: Progress through Diversity".
Besides, the Kazakh Ambassador expressed hope for Poland's support in realization of the Government's Path to Europe program. "Poland has rich experience in political and economic reforms and could become Kazakhstan's guide in the program's implementation", A. Volkov noted.
The reception was attended by the representatives of the Presidential Administration, Prime Minister's Office, ministries and departments of Poland, foreign diplomats, heads of large companies, mass media and the Kazakh Diaspora. Over 700 people visited the event, the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs.
