We develop Strategy of Industrial and Innovation Development and increase industrial potential of country - Kazakh President

ASTANA. December 15. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ We elaborated the Strategy of Industrial and Innovation Development for consolidation of our positions at the external markets. Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev has announced it at the festive concert dedicated to the 18th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence.

"The annual average pre-crisis growth rate of the industrial sectors made up about 9 percent. The industrial products volume has increased by 6 times. New productions, infrastructural projects appeared on the map of developing industrial Kazakhstan, roads and international transport corridors constructed and rehabilitated. Developed transport infrastructure opened additional opportunities on choice extension in obtaining education, qualitative medical service, and the business got additional opportunities of the territorial expansion, integration into the international community, their competitiveness growth", N.Nazarbayev said.

He reminded that 2001 was announced the year of roads. There were constructed and repaired 32 thousand km of roads - 30 percent of all roads in Kazakhstan, and KZT 766 bln were spent for it.

The Head of the State emphasized that transport infrastructure development creates new jobs for thousand citizens.
