Relations between Kazakhstan and Russia are based on a solid foundation of strategic partnership and alliance, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said in a restricted-attendance meeting with his counterpart President of Russia Vladimir Putin at the Akorda, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The Head of State said that he read an article by Vladimir Putin in Kazakhstan’s mass media. He thanked him and said that he also published his article in Russia’s mass media. He said that they in unison set forth all the approaches for the development of cooperation aimed at the future. In his article, President Tokayev stressed that Kazakhstan was and remains a reliable strategic partner of Russia.
