We nurture new leaders in science, D. Nazarbayeva
"The forum prompts integration in science. I am sure the work done within the forum will promote formation of new young leaders capable of taking the responsibility and making the right decisions," Majilis member and Chairperson of the Committee for Social ad Cultural Development Dariga Nazarbayeva said in an opening speech.
Some 200 young talented scientists from the CIS member states (Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan) and winners and runners-up of the contests of the First President's Fund participate in the conference.
In the course of a two-week forum the participants are to discuss the most challenging directions of up-to-date research and their further development. The forum will also focus on enhancing the level of interaction and strengthening the partnership between young CIS scientists.
The event is organized by the Young Scientists Council under the Fund of the First President of Kazakhstan with the support of the CIS Interstate Foundation for Humanitarian Cooperation.
