We should strengthen peace and concord in country during both holidays and weekdays - Head of State

ASTANA. March 22. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ We should strengthen peace and harmony in the country during both holidays and weekdays; President Nursultan Nazarbayev considers so.

"Our main value is friendship and unity of the people. Hence during both holidays and weekdays we should strengthen peace and concord," the Head of the State noted.

The President emphasized that Nauryz is one of the oldest holidays in the world. It is celebrated for over five thousand years.

"Together with other state of the world we mark the New Year and Nauryz. The history of Nauryz is the history of our independence! Kazakhstan welcomes the 20^th spring of its independence being a strong, stable and dynamically developing state," N.Nazarbayev resumed.
