We want to extend state-private partnership sphere: head of Kazakh Center of State-Private Partnership
ASTANA. March 12. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ ?We want to extend the sphere of state-private partnership in Kazakhstan?, Chairman of the Board of the Kazakh Center of State-Private Partnership Bolat Smagulov said at the briefing within the II Economic Forum of Astana.
According to B.Smagulov, the projects of state-private partnership are being realized mostly at the local level in the field of housing and utilities infrastructure, healthcare and other.
?The state-private partnership gives an opportunity to balance the risks and responsibility between the state and private business, define measures of state support of different projects. All infrastructural projects provide cross liability and creation of many work places. We hope that our projects will attract investors and contribute to the development of the economy?, B.Smagulov said.
At the present the Center supervises seven projects to the amount of USD 1.5 bln.
