Week of French language and culture to be held in Astana

ASTANA. February 12. KAZINFORM French Embassy in Kazakhstan will hold Week of French language and culture in Astana in March, 2009. Different concerts, literary soirees and competitions will be held within the Week, Kazinform refers to the Embassy.

Traditional contest ?Meet France? invites French speaking students to take part and gives opportunity to show their language skills and knowledge of history, literature, country study. The main prize is internship in France in summer, 2009. Contests on French songs among young talents of 18-25 years old and contests on amateur photography ?Tomorrow? for students of higher education institutions will be held within the Week as well. The main prize in each category is a travel o France.
