According to the Ministry of Education and Science, about 300 thousand Kazakhstani children are in need of financial assistance in the preparation for school. According to rough calculations, to fully prepare for the new school year it is needed from 26 to 65 thousand tenge. on Wednesday President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev held a meeting with Defence Minister Serik Akhmetov. During the meeting Serik Akhmetov reported on systematic work in maintaining the combat readiness of the Armed Forces, spoke about the ongoing organizational and practical measures to increase the combat training of troops, and to equip the army with modern weapons and military technology.
the Head of State stressed the importance of further development of the military-industrial complex and the need to strengthen military-technical cooperation with leading international manufacturers.
Nursultan Nazarbayev focused on issues of ammunition production by Kazakh enterprises. In addition, the President of Kazakhstan instructed Akhmetov to consider aspects of the Ministry's activity taking into account the task of forming compact Government and improving governance.

The part of them is completed, broadly, a milk farm with a capacity of 10,000 liters per day, a goat milk farm, new greeneries, feeding stations, etc. All this let improve the rural demographic situation, reducing youth outflow and increasing people's welfare," he added. Kazakhstan Defense Minister Serik Akhmetov during his working visit to the Russian Federation attended today the 2nd International Exhibition of Arms "Oboronexpo 2014" held in Zhukovsky, Moscow Region. Minister was presented modern armaments and military equipment of Russia manufacture. Oboronexpo 2014 will include two main events, The Third International Forum "Engineering Technologies 2014" and The Second International Expo "Oboronexpo 2014." Russian state industrial corporation Rostec is one of the organizers of the expo.
As part of his working visit to Moscow, Defence Minister of Kazakhstan Serik Akmetov met with deputy head of military-industrial commission under the Russian Government Oleg Bochkarev. The talks addressed urgent issues of further integration of defence industry complexes of Kazakhstan and Russia, co-production of special-purpose products. Akhmetov noted potential and readiness of Kazakhstani enterprises to switch their productions, and spoke for participation of Kazakhstan's defence companies in filling of government defence order of Russia.
According to him, joint action plan for military-technical cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia for 2014-2016 will contribute to it.
