WEEKLY REVIEW: Kazakhstan plans to increase natural resources' production rates & their delivery to world markets

On Monday, September 16, the Chairman of the Agency for Protection of Competition Bolatbek Kuandikov reported about an increase in revenues for violations of antitrust laws which equals to KZT 181.8 million.
On Tuesday, 17 September, the Government's meeting approved the draft concept for reforming the regulatory framework in the construction sector of Kazakhstan.
The Government also considered and approved the draft concept of effective management of natural resources and the use of proceeds from the commodity sector. Minister of Oil and Gas Uzakbai Karabalin noted that the efficiency of resource use should be based on integrated approaches and it should balance the interests of industry and the state.
On Wednesday, September 18, the Kazakh delegation headed by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan - the Commissioner of the international specialized exhibition "EXPO-2017" Rapil Zhoshybayev participated in "Global Economic Forum on Tourism "Macau 2013".
On Thursday, September 19, the Ministry of Education and Science reported that in 2015, it is planned to move to a two-stage testing program for the development of public education until 2020.
On Thursday, the Prime Minister Akhmetov paid a working visit to France. He visited the headquarters of the International Exhibitions Bureau in Paris. During the round table with the Secretary General of the BIE Vicente Lossertales the parties discussed issues of cooperation between Kazakhstan and the organization.
On Friday, September 20, the Minister of Finance Bolat Zhamishev took part in a seminar-meeting on the reform of special tax regimes which took place in Petropavlovsk.
The Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Tamara Duisenova on Friday spoke at a seminar held in Astana themed "Gender aspects of modernization of the pension system in Kazakhstan".
At a conference in the Government, held on Friday, the Deputy Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies Sergey Karplyuk reported that new industries have already produced output which value equals to the invested funds. According to his words, in 2010 there were implemented 563 projects.
