WEEKLY REVIEW: Kazakhstan will conduct inventory of villages to work out measures for their development

KAZINFORM - The government of Kazakhstan is to conduct a complete inventory of all the villages and to make changes in the program of regional development, private health organizations will be accredited to receive the state order, and within the project "e - kyzmet " it is being planned to develop 15 subsystems.

On Wednesday , September 4 , there was a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which considered the issue of regional development. With the submission of organizational measures for the revival of a village, the Vice-Minister of Regional Development Serik Zhumangarin noted that in the country currently there are 6936 rural settlements. More than half of them are minorities with a population of less than 500 people.

According to him, as a result of the classification will be identified 4 groups of rural-type settlements (RTS) to develop appropriate measures for their development. In this case, the district centers and RTS are encouraged to develop as centers of economic growth , employees bridge the economic, social, cultural and demographic ties of the village to the city ", said the deputy minister .

According to him, within the framework of national and sectoral programs on infrastructure development in rural areas of the republic in the next three years there will be provided direct funding from the national budget amounting to KZT373.2 billion.

In turn, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akhmetov said that "for effective operation of the newly elected governors there are all necessary conditions, and further development of rural areas will largely depend on the activities of governors on the ground."

Following the meeting, the Ministry of Regional Development, the concerned government agencies and the governors were entrusted until November 1 to make adjustments to the program called "Regional Development " including a separate section titled "Development of rural areas ."

"This project is scheduled for 2013-2015. Within the project will be implemented 9 units - a total of 32 subsystems , including the technological subsystem body " said O.Danebekov .

According to him , the operation of "e - kyzmet " system will let HR services of government agencies to manage personnel in accordance with international best practices, and improve the productivity of personnel services of government agencies .

At a briefing in Astana the chairman of the control of medical and pharmaceutical activity of the Ministry of Health Laura Ahmetniyazova said that in the following days there would be held national accreditation of medical institutions of outpatient care on the updated standards.

" Since 2014 the principles of improving access, quality will be introduced at the level of outpatient care. As part of this reform will be increased funding, that is there will be the conditions for the the private sector to be attractive", explained the head of the Committee monitoring the medical and pharmaceutical activity of Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan .

Today the Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov has had a working visit to Pavlodar region. During the trip he visited several major industrial projects in the region, in particular, Bozshakolsky Mining Plant, which is currently under construction on a large polymetallic ore deposit in the Ekibastuz region.

The project, part of the Republican Map of Industrialization, worth $ 258 billion, is being realized by "Kazakhmys Boschekul." Bozshakol mine is expected to produce 100 thousand tons of copper concentrate per year. Its output at full capacity is planned for 2018.
