Weightlifter Sairamkez Akmolda lifts Kazakhstan to silver in Tashkent

Kazakhstani weightlifter Sairamkez Akmolda grabbed silver at the 2024 Asian Weightlifting Championships currently underway in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from the press service of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Akmolda lifted a total of 292kg to earn the second place in the Men’s 67kg weight class at the championships.

The Paris Olympic Games Qualification Event which is slated to run through February 10 brought together more than 192 top weightlifters from 34 countries.
