West Kazakhstan to carry out 41 big projects

URALSK. March 16. KAZINFORM. /Gaissagali Yeraly/ Small and medium enterprises of West Kazakhstan region plan to implement 41 big projects with the budget of KZT 7.4 billion within 2009-2010.

According to the department of entrepreneurship and industry, these measures will be taken as part of anti-crisis program and aimed at decreasing the level of import dependence, expanding meat processing industry, dairy farms, glasshouse industry. The projects will allow to create 800 jobs. Fund for Financial Support of Agriculture and Damu JSC will finance the projects. The regional akimat will allocate KZT 250 million. These measures are supposed to increase production output and reduce food prices.
