What industries offer highest salaries in Kazakhstan
Information and communications sector sees the biggest pay hikes across Kazakhstan - 40.1%, with an average salary at 715,244 tenge. At the same time, the average growth in wages was recorded at 14.4% compared to Q2 2023, while average wage is 383,365 tenge, Kazinform News Agency learned from the National Statistics Bureau.
Despite the 40% wage increase, information and communications industry is not the highest paid one, occupying only the third line. The first is financial and insurance sector (800,690 tenge), then comes the mining industry (757,956 tenge).
The lowest paying jobs are in agriculture, forestry and fisheries sector - 235,153 tenge, as well as in accommodation and food services - 239,181 tenge.
