There are 10 days left until the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games in Paris. Kazinform News Agency offers a short information about the tennis players and triathletes who will represent the country at the event.

Tennis:

Elena Rybakina, born June 17, 1999, in Moscow, Russia. In June 2018, she acquired the citizenship of Kazakhstan. Rybakina is the winner of the 2022 Wimbledon tournament.

Alexander Shevchenko, born November 29, 2000, in Russia’s Rostov-on-Don. He started representing Kazakhstan in February 2024.

Alexander Bublik, born June 17, 1997 in Gatchina, Russia. He started representing Kazakhstan in 2012.

Triathlon

Yekaterina Shabalina, born 28 May 1998, in Yekaterinburg, Russia. She has been representing Kazakhstan since 2021.

Team Kazakhstan has earned 80 Olympic Games quotas in 25 sports, including boxing, judo, artistic gymnastics, track-and-field, kayaking and canoeing, rifle shooting, Greco-Roman wrestling, freestyle wrestling, archery, trap-shooting, tennis, road cycling, swimming, modern pentathlon, taekwondo, cycling track, trampoline gymnastics, badminton, rowing, rhythmic gymnastics, triathlon, table tennis, climbing and breaking.

The XXXIII Summer Olympic Games will be held in Paris from July 26 to August 11. The event will bring together 10,500 athletes from 205 countries, who will compete for 329 sets of medals in 32 sports.
