High wind, fog and black ice to hit Kazakhstan throughout Thursday

The National Met Office, Kazhydromet, has issued the weather forecast for Kazakhstan for December 26, Kazinform News Agency reports.

The greater part of Kazakhstan will stay under the impact of the anticyclone, which will bring weather with no precipitation. The country’s northwest and north will see snow and blizzard.

Fog is expected across the country. The country’s west is also forecast to observe black ice and wind strengthening in the east and Alakol Lakes.

It was earlier reported that fog is to blanket the Kazakh capital and 13 regions.
