Windy, foggy conditions forecast across Kazakhstan Sep 28

Most parts of Kazakhstan will experience today cool weather without precipitation, due to the Northwestern anticyclone ridge. Only mountainous areas of the country’s southeast and east will see rain and snow, Kazinform News Agency learned from Kazhydromet.

Strong wind and foggy conditions are forecast countrywide.

Fire hazard is reported to be high in Aktobe, Karaganda regions, east of Ulytau region, east of Zhetysu region, north of West Kazakhstan region, northwest of Kyzylorda region, southwest and southeast of Zhambyl region, west, south and center of East Kazakhstan region, south and center of Kostanay region, east and center of Abai region, as well as in the east of Mangystau region.

Extremely high fire risk is expected in Mangystau, Atyrau, Turkistan, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl, West Kazakhstan, Ulytau regions, south of Abai region, west, north and center of Zhetysu region, west and east of Karaganda region, west, south and center of Aktobe region.
