Winter fun turns deadly
MOSCOW. January 11. KAZINFORM One tourist was killed and another injured in a "zorbing" accident in Russia's Caucasus Mountains.

The two men climbed the Mussa-Achitaro summit in Karachayevo-Cherkessia's Dombay region last week to partake in zorbing, also known as "globe-riding" - an extreme recreational activity involving rolling downhill in a transparent plastic orb, Kazinform has learnt from RIA Novosti.
The globe, inside which the two men held onto handles, rolled down a gentle slope, but then veered off course and flew off a cliff into a ravine.
The orb rolled over half a mile and landed on a frozen lake. Friends of the two men captured the tragedy on video.
