With industrialization program GDP to grow by 50%,

KAZINFORM /Andrey Sokolov/ - In 2010 we plan to launch the program of industrialization of Kazakhstan's economy, and when carried through successfully it will allow to make KZT 7 trillion more; the GDP will be increased by 50 percent, President Nursultan Nazarbayev stated today when commenting on the question asked by Amanzhol Saginayev, a dean of Technology Department of Atyrau Institute of Oil and Gas.

 «The first point of the ten-year industrialization program will be advanced procession of raw resources, as well as oil-and-gas resources. For that purpose we plan to build a new petrochemical complex in Atyrau region that will be releasing a wide range of oil and gas products. Besides it is planned to expand the existing Atyrau oil refinery to produce fuel and lubrication materials upgraded to the Euro-3 and Euro-4 standards, plus benzol and paraxylene production will be developed there», - the President informed.

Nursultan Nazarbayev also reminded that in Mangystau region a paving bitumen plant with capacity 500 thousand tons per year will be built soon. The Eni group will start the construction of the plant of advanced procession of 3-5 billion cubic meters of gas per year in West Kazakhstan region.
