Woman in S Kazakhstan gives birth to quadruplets (PHOTO)

SHYMKENT. KAZINFORM - A 28-year-old resident of Sairam district of South Kazakhstan region Rabia Shermetova has given birth to quadruplets.

That was for the first time for the last 10 years, according to the deputy chief of the regional healthcare department Saltanat Dzhabagieva. R.Shermetova was admitted to the hospital on March 11. She was immediately sent for emergency surgery because of multiple pregnancy. According to obstetrician-gynecologist Caesarean section passed without technical complications. The kids spent six days in intensive care. The woman gave birth to one son and three daughters. Moreover, the mother has an elder 7-year-old son.
