Woman knocks down kindergarten fence, fatally hits little girl in Almaty

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - A five-year-old girl has died under the wheels of Toyota Land Cruiser SUV in Almaty city, spokesperson of Almaty police Saltanat Azirbek confirms.

According to reports, the 46-year-old female driver of the Toyota Land Cruiser rammed into a fence of kindergarten #58 in Almaty city while trying to back out at a high speed. When the woman got out of the SUV, she noticed that she knocked the fence down and fatally hit a 5-year-old girl. Ms Azirbek also confirmed that several kids who were playing in the yard of the kindergarten that day had also sustained various injuries and had been hospitalized. A criminal investigation has been launched.
