Woman shoots husband at close-range on International Women's Day

ATYRAU. March 10. KAZINFORM A 42-year-old woman shot her husband in the face at close range on the International Women's Day in Atyrau.

It was the local ophthalmological center that reported about the incident that took place on March 8, according to Gulnazira Mukhtarova, a press secretary for the Atyrau Department of Internal Affairs. The 36-year-old husband was admitted to the center with his left eye wounded. The woman was detained, but later set free on her own recognizance not to leave town. Her husband is now at the inpatient unit of the center.
