Women contribute a lot to strengthening of independence of Kazakhstan - President

ASTANA. March 5. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Women contribute a lot to strengthening of independence of Kazakhstan.

President Nursultan Nazarbayev has said it at the Congress of Women of Kazakhstan which is held today at the Palace of Independence in Astana.

"The best genes of the nation we get from our mothers. Our people have always considered a man as a master of the house and a woman has always been considered as a keeper of the traditions and values of the nation," the Head of State emphasized.

The President also reminded that there were a lot of women in our history who became the "pride of our nation".

The President also noted that women were the beginning of human life and congratulated the women of Kazakhstan on the upcoming International Women's Day.
