Women's World Chess Championship closes in Astana, Kazakhstan is 7th
ASTANA. March 13. KAZINFORM The Women's World Chess Championship came to an end in Astana on Monday. The grandiose chess event lasted for ten days. Kazakhstan's team is ranked 7th upon its results.
Ukraine topped all expectations and took the lead with China and Russia behind, securing the second and the third spots accordingly.
Kazakhstan's team included Guliskhan Nakhbayeva, Dinara Saduakasova, Gulmira Dauletova, Madina Davletbayeva and Zhansaya Abdumalik.
Romania, France and Turkey were the underdogs of the tournament.
