Workshop on development of energy conservation to be held in Astana

ASTANA. February 2. KAZINFORM ?A workshop on ?Topical issues of the development of energy conservation in the Republic of Kazakhstan? will be held tomorrow in the Majilis (Lower House of the Kazakh Parliament)?, Secretary of the Committee for Economic Reform and Regional Development Murat Abenov said, Kazinform refers to the press service of the House.

Vice Minister of Industry and Trade will report on the development of energy conservation in the Republic. Reports of Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Duisenbai Turganov and Deputy Permanent Representative of the United Nations Development Program in Kazakhstan Steliana Nedera are expected to be listened to as well. Besides, representatives of the Eurasian National L.N.Gumilyev University and ?Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company ?KEGOC? JSC will take part in the discussion. Deputies of the Kazakh Parliament, reps of a number of Ministries, NGOs, scientific circles and international organizations will participate in the workshop, chaired by member of the Committee Yerzhan Rakhmetov.
