World-class bicycle racers expected in Almaty

ALMATY. KAZINFORM Almaty will play a host to Almaty Tour 2014 professional one-day highway cycling race on October 5, 2014, Kazakhstan's Cycling Federation said.

It will bring together the best racers of 20 leading teams of Europe, Asia and the US to compete for the top honors. Currently, Kazakhstan's federation is in talks with the strongest teams of the world such as Katusha, Sky, Trek Factory, Movistar, Omega Pharma - Quick-Step, Bardiane Valvole, CCC Polsat, Team La Pomme Marseille, etc. This year racers will cover a 186 km distance
