World community highly appraises anticorruption policy of Kazakhstan – N. Nazarbayev

ASTANA. November 5. KAZINFORM President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev received Chairman of the Agency for Combating Economic Crimes and Corruption Kairat Kozhamzharov, the Presidential press service informs.

K. Kozhamzharov informed the President of the activity of the Financial Police to combat corruption and neutralize shadow economy.

The Head of State noted that the world community highly appraised the anticorruption policy of Kazakhstan. However, it is often criticized in the press.

'We have to be firm in our intentions. I warned everybody that the fight against corruption would be hard. If we started this fight we would finish it and ignore all the insinuations and provocations that are used to distract us. Everybody has to understand that we are going to perseveringly fight corruption', N. Nazarbayev said.
