Y.Orynbayev familiarized with implementation of Business Road Map - 2020 in Kostanay

ASTANA. March 30. KAZINFORM A government working group headed by Deputy Prime Minister Yerbol Orynbayev familiarized with the process of implementation of the Business Road Map - 2020 Program in Kostanay region during a visit to the region today, according to pm.kz.

Y.Orynbayev visited "Bayan-Sulu" Confectionary that received state support in form of subsidization of the interest rate for a loan within the Business Road Map - 2020. An investment project on production of pressed and laminated wrapped caramel worth 490 million tenge was implemented at the expense of the borrowed funds.

Y.Orynbayev also visited "Kostanay MBI" enterprise producing small piece concrete products and LLP "Steklocentre - 2008" which is the biggest regional enterprise processing glass and producing glass products. These enterprises received subsidies for the interest rates for their loans within the Business Road Map - 2020.

The Deputy Premier completed his working visit to Kostanay region by holding a session in the regional akimat with the participation of representatives of the local executive bodies. The issues regarding fulfillment of the instructions of the President regarding implementation of the Employment - 2020 and Business Road Map - 2020 Programs were discussed at the session.

The working group headed by Yerbol Orynbayev is expected to pay a visit to Karaganda region tomorrow, March 31 to inspect the implementation of the Employment - 2020 and Business Road Map - 2020 Programs there.

The Kostanay Coordination Council has approved 44 projects for subsidizing and guaranteeing of credits since the launch of the Business Road Map-2020 Program.

The Council approved 42 projects for subsidizing and guaranteeing of credits amounting to KZT 9.8 bln within the first and third directions of the Program. The Council also approved 2 projects for partial credit guaranteeing that totaled KZT 754.4 mln.

As is known, the Business Road Map-2020 Program is one of the mechanisms for implementation of the State Program on Forced Industrial-Innovative Development. The measures provided within this Program are successfully applied in many world countries. These are the partial subsidizing of interest rates and provision of partial guarantee of credits, development of production infrastructure and service support, taxes preferences and creation of social jobs and others.

The Program includes four directions such as "Support of new business initiatives", "Recovery of business sector", "Reduction of currency risks of entrepreneurs" and "Strengthening of business potential".

"Damu" Fund has allocated KZT 10.810 bln in form of subsidies since the launch of the Program. KZT 3.716 bln was allocated within the first direction, 4.160 bln - within the second one and 3.014 bln was allocated within the third direction.

The majority of the projects granted subsidies for interest rates of their credits are functioning in processing industry - 49%, some of them are in transport and storage spheres - 18% and 10% of the projects are oriented at agro-industrial complex.

Thanks to the implementation of the Program, 99917 jobs were preserved. It is planned to create over 22607 jobs over the nearest three years of the Program operation period.
