Year of Kazakhstan in Germany to be opened with gala concert

MAGDEBURG. January, 27. KAZINFORM / Yuliya Chernova / A gala concert dedicated to the opening of the Year of Kazakhstan in Germany will take place in the Concert Hall of Berlin in Gendamenmarkt Street on February, 3, at 16.00, Kazinform refers to the German Information Agency www.die-newsblogger.de.

According to the organizers of the festival about 200 Kazakhstani artists will present the spectators traditional motives of their native steppe land. President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and Bundespraisident of Germany Horst Kohler will attend the concert. The performance of Kazakhstani Symphonic Orchestra, choir, orchestra of folk instruments and young ensemble of violinists are included in the program. The residents of Germany will learn about the culture of Kazakhstan during the whole year. The forthcoming concert is just the first step on this way after which a number of exhibitions and events will take place throughout Germany.
